About Me

I’m Evan Davis, a senior at Texas State University and the Cadet Battalion Commander for Army ROTC. I’m passionate about leadership, team development, and building disciplined organizations that perform in demanding environments.

Through my experience leading over 130 cadets, planning large-scale training events, and managing complex responsibilities, I’ve developed a leadership style grounded in accountability, adaptability, and mission focus. My background in Applied Sociology strengthens this approach by giving me a deeper understanding of group dynamics, motivation, and how individuals and teams operate within high-pressure systems.

I specialize in:

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams

  • Planning and coordinating large training operations and field exercises

  • Communicating effectively with senior leaders and diverse groups

  • Building organizational structure, discipline, and accountability

  • Making sound decisions in fast-paced and demanding environments

As I prepare to commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army, I am committed to continuous growth, leading by example, and creating teams that are resilient, capable, and mission-ready.

This portfolio highlights my academic work, leadership experience, and professional development as I prepare for a career of service and leadership.
